EMBRACE NOW TERMS OF USE

Welcome to Embrace Now! These Terms of Use are a legal agreement between you and Embrace Now Psychotherapy and Wellness, PLLC that governs your use of our website, community, and services. By using Embrace Now, you agree to follow these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use our site or community platform. We may change these terms from time to time – if we do, we’ll post the updated version here and let you know by email about any major changes. By continuing to use Embrace Now after changes are made, it means you accept the revised terms.

1. What is Embrace Now? Embrace Now is a membership website that provides educational courses, resources, newsletters and other content about coping with anxiety and daily stressors.. We allow members to connect with each other through our platform to discuss these topics. Embrace Now’s community website and content provides information, resources, and a supportive community, but we do not provide professional psychotherapy services.

2. Who can use Embrace Now? You must be at least 18 years old to use our site. By using Embrace Now, you confirm that you are legally allowed to agree to these terms. To access our members-only content, you need to register for an account with your name, email, and payment info. Please keep your account info up-to-date and don’t share your password with anyone. You are responsible for all activity on your account – let us know right away if you think someone is using it without your permission.

3. Your Privacy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand what info we collect about you and how we use it. We take your privacy seriously.

4. Prohibited Activities. Embrace Now is a supportive community space. To keep it that way, you agree not to:

  • Use Embrace Now to advertise or sell things, run pyramid schemes or chain letters, or send spam

  • Post political ads or info about rallies, protests, etc.

  • Break any laws or encourage others to

  • Send any unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, spam, etc.

  • Impersonate or attempt to impersonate Embrace Now or any other person/entity

  • Engage in any conduct that restricts others’ use of the site or exposes them to liability

  • Introduce any viruses, Trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other destructive material

  • Bully, harass, stalk or threaten others

  • Use the site in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the site or interfere with any other party’s use of the site

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage or disrupt any parts of the site

  • Use offensive, obscene, or inappropriate language

  • Use any automated means to access the site for any purpose, including monitoring or copying any site content

  • Post anything that exploits kids or depicts animal cruelty

This list isn’t complete, so please also review our full Community Guidelines for more on acceptable vs unacceptable behavior. We reserve the right to suspend or ban your account if you violate any of these rules or our Community Guidelines..
5. User Content, Live Events, and Conduct of Others. You are responsible for anything you post or contribute on Embrace Now, like comments, photos, messages, etc. Make sure you have permission to post it. While we expect disagreements, please stay respectful towards others. 

We don’t control what other members post or how they behave, online or at live events. We aren’t required to monitor it, but we may review concerning content/conduct and take appropriate action like removing content or suspending accounts. However, we’re not liable for other members’ content or behavior. Use caution, as we don’t run background checks or verify statements that other members make. We aren’t responsible for any interactions or arrangements you make with other members.

6. Your Participation in Live Events/Workshops and Group Circles. Embrace Now hosts live virtual events and group circles.. Embrace Now staff will lead these spaces to provide information and facilitate discussions.

By participating in Live Events or Group Circles, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • These are educational spaces/groups, not professional healthcare, mental health, or therapy services

  • You are fully responsible for your own wellbeing and participation

  • You voluntarily share any personal info at your own discretion and risk

  • You will keep confidential any private info shared by other members

  • You will be courteous and respectful to other members

Embrace Now may remove anyone being inappropriate or disruptive from live events or group circles. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you release Embrace Now and its staff from any claims or liability related to your participation in these groups/events.

7. Your User Content. You are responsible for any content you post on Embrace Now. This includes ensuring you have rights to post it and that it follows our rules. Don’t post anything protected by someone else’s copyright or trademark without their express permission. Any User Contribution you post is considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. By providing any User Contribution, you grant us the right to use it for any purpose. You represent and warrant that you own or control all rights in and to the User Contributions and have the right to grant the license granted above to us. We may use your content to operate, improve and promote the site. By posting on Embrace Now, you grant us a worldwide license to do so. Don’t send us confidential or proprietary content. We are not responsible or liable to any third party for the content or accuracy of any User Contributions posted by you or any other user.

8. Content Standards. User Contributions must not:

  • Contain any material that is defamatory, obscene, indecent, abusive, offensive, harassing, violent, hateful, inflammatory or otherwise objectionable.

  • Infringe any intellectual property rights or other legal rights of others.

  • Violate the legal rights (including the rights of publicity and privacy) of others or contain any material that could give rise to any civil or criminal liability.

  • Promote any illegal activity.

  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

  • Give the impression that they emanate from or are endorsed by Embrace Now if this is not the case.

9. Our Intellectual Property. The courses/workshops, resources, newsletters, and other content on Embrace Now is owned or licensed by Embrace Now Psychotherapy and Wellness LLC. You may use it for personal, non-commercial learning, but you can’t sell, rent, share, modify or redistribute it without our written permission. Downloading content is only allowed for specific items that expressly permit it. All trademarks, logos, text, graphics, and other elements of Embrace Now are our protected property. You agree to keep all copyright and other notices intact. Let us know if you have questions about allowable uses.

10. Availability and Quality of Content. We regularly update the content on Embrace Now and may change or remove content at any time without notice. We don’t guarantee any specific resolution or streaming quality, even for paid content.

11. Paid Content and Subscriptions. Embrace Now offers monthly, biannual, and annual subscriptions to our community and premium content. By signing up, you agree to automatic renewal until you cancel. You’ll be charged the posted price at sign-up, and that same price will auto-renew until you cancel (price subject to change with notice after your first term). You can cancel anytime, but already paid fees are non-refundable. If we terminate your account for reasons other than your breaching these terms, we’ll refund a prorated amount of unused fees.

12. Text Messaging. By signing up for text alerts and/or email notifications, you consent to receive informational and marketing messages from Embrace Now. Message frequency varies. You can opt out anytime by replying STOP or visiting https://www.embrace-now.org/unsubscribe. You agree that Embrace Now isn’t liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.

13. Third Party Links. Embrace Now may link to third party sites, some of which pay us referral fees that help support our free content. However, we don’t control and aren’t responsible for the content, products, services or policies of those sites. Use them at your own risk.

14. Not Professional Advice. EMBRACE NOW PROVIDES INFORMATION, NOT PROFESSIONAL MEDICAL OR PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES. WE AREN’T A SUBSTITUTE FOR THERAPY AND USING OUR SITE DOESN’T CREATE ANY PROFESSIONAL TREATMENT RELATIONSHIP. ALWAYS CONSULT YOUR OWN DOCTORS AND MENTAL HEALTH PROVIDERS REGARDING YOUR SPECIFIC NEEDS. RELYING ON INFO FROM EMBRACE NOW IS AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION AND RISK.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties.

YOUR USE OF THE SITE, ITS CONTENT AND ANY SERVICES OR ITEMS OBTAINED THROUGH THE SITE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE SITE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. EMBRACE NOW AND ITS AFFILIATES DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES WITH RESPECT TO THE SITE, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

16. Limitation of Liability.

IN NO EVENT WILL EMBRACE NOW OR ITS AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE, ANY SITES LINKED TO IT, ANY CONTENT ON THE SITE OR SUCH OTHER SITES. THIS INCLUDES ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR CONTENT, EVEN IF WE’VE BEEN ADVISED OF SUCH DAMAGE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU’VE PAID US IN THE LAST 12 MONTHS. SOME JURISDICTIONS DON’T ALLOW LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY, SO THESE LIMITS MAY NOT FULLY APPLY TO YOU.

17. Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Embrace Now and its team from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these terms, your misuse of Embrace Now, or your breach of any laws or third party rights. We reserve the right to handle our legal defense however we see fit, even if you are indemnifying us, and you agree to cooperate with us in asserting any defenses.

18. Dispute Resolution. These Terms will be governed by Pennsylvania law and any disputes will be settled by binding arbitration, not court, except for claims seeking equitable relief. You agree that any claim must be brought individually, not as a class action. You are waiving your right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action against Embrace Now. See Section 17 for full details on arbitration and class action waiver. This section shall survive termination of your use of Embrace Now.

19. Termination. Embrace Now reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account or access to some or all of the site at any time, for any reason, without notice, and without liability to you. Upon termination, all licenses granted by Embrace Now will terminate. Sections on Prohibited Activities, User Content, Intellectual Property, Indemnification, Dispute Resolution, and General Terms will survive.

20. Copyrights and Trademarks. If you believe content on Embrace Now infringes your copyright or trademark rights, please email us with your name, contact info, identification of the material, and basis for your claim. We will review and respond appropriately under applicable intellectual property laws.

21. General Legal Provisions.

a. These Terms constitute the full agreement between you and Embrace Now.
b. If any provision is deemed invalid, the rest remain in full force.
c. Our failure to enforce any right or term is not a waiver of that right.
d. You can’t transfer your rights under these terms to anyone else without our consent, but we may assign our rights to affiliates or successors.
e. There is no agency, partnership, joint venture, or employee-employer relationship created by these terms.
f. We reserve all rights not explicitly granted to you.
g. You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

22. Your Comments and Concerns. The site is operated by Embrace Now Psychotherapy and Wellness LLC, 21 East 5th Avenue Suite 100, Conshohocken, PA 19428. Notices of copyright infringement claims should be sent as described in our Copyright Policy. All other feedback, comments, requests for support and other communications should be directed to: admin@embrace-now.org.

“Embrace Connection: Social Anxiety Skills Workshop,” is designed to help you understand and manage social anxiety through evidence-based techniques and strategies. This workshop consists of five comprehensive lessons, totaling 43 minutes of video content, and includes four associated resources/activities to enhance your learning and application.

By the end of this workshop, participants will:

Understand Social Anxiety: Gain a clear understanding of social anxiety, its causes, and the difference between normal social anxiety and social anxiety disorder.

Manage Anxious Thoughts: Learn to catch, identify, and reframe socially anxious thoughts with evidence-based strategies.

This workshop consists of five concise lessons, totaling 26 minutes of video content, complemented by four associated resources to support your mindfulness journey.

By the end of this workshop, participants will:

Understand Mindfulness: Gain a clear understanding of what mindfulness is, its benefits, and overcome common myths.

Enhance Present Moment Awareness: Learn and practice mindfulness activities that help stay grounded in the present.
